Stories of Courage

          This is Mathew's true story of courage that I call "River to Freedom".One day Mathew was walking by a river in Egypt.That river was the famous Nile. Suddenly, he stumbled on and fell in the cruel river. He tried to swim to save his life but it was impossible.Then, he saw the two ,dark and yellow eyes of a crocodile.The crocodile was running incredibly fast towards him,but when it was about a step away from him it turned and walked away.

      

          That wasn't Mathew's first lucky escape.Some years ago,in the World War 1,he was into prison because of the German domination.Every day German soldiers hit Egyptians.One day they took them out of prison next to a river.His hope for freedom was getting bigger,so he asked a soldier about the river.The German soldier answered him that the river had electricity lines in it.His hope had been broken.To the Egyptians' luck,the bell rang for lunch ,so they made a line and started walking to take their tasteless food? When the most people had gone he ran towards the river and  jumped.He luckily swam under the electricity lines till he reached the other side of the river.

         Finally,his body was saved but weak.He remembered that he had some friends at the Port. He walked 30 kilometers in a day and fortunately arrived at the Port alive.His friends gave him a fast boat and he went to his dad's home,so the old father was there waiting for him.If we have difficult times in our lives, we should remember Mathew's courage and bravely fight against them.

A FORMAL EMAIL LETTER GIVING INFORMATION

Dear Mr Jones,

I am writing this email to you to tell you that we have found a place for you and your family with all the features you wanted. Let me tell you about Colorful Sunrise Beach Resort.

 First of all, you wanted to know where the resort is. You wanted it to be at a quiet place. Colorful Sunrise Beach Resort is in a beautiful valley next to the coast with no traffic at all. The only sound that you hear is the sound of the waves crashing on the  beach, the sound of the kids playing and the birds singing. In addition to that ,you and your family can do many activities. You can do all water sports and there are beach parties every night, especially for teenagers. An entry for the disguise competition

    Hi, "Fun TV".My name is Nick and I'm sending this entry to your competition "In disguise for a Day".I would like to seem like Jim Carrey in "The Mask", because he did amazing and exciting things like revealing fridges, hammers ,watches that talk and all these from his pocket.
   
    First of all,I would like the make-up artists to put the  mask on my head so I'm  just like him.I would wear glasses for the different disguises that the mask man has during the movie . For example, I'd like to look like a salesperson, a teacher or even a scientist.I want to wear new shoes because I want to invent a new walk. I also want to wear small cushions in order to appear bigger.
   
   While I'm in disguise, I would like to fool my dad, my mum,my granny ,my cousins and friends ,too. I like fooling people, especially on Halloween. I hope you 'll make me like the mask.I look forward to your reply.

A report for the hotel in the neighborhood

The proposals of the local council

     The local council has found a Greek millionaire, who wants to build a large hotel in our neighbourhood. I have to express my opinion on this topic.There might be some advantages, but there might be some hidden disadvantages ,too.

The advantages

     There are three advantages concerning the new building in this area.The first advantage is that more tourists will come and the shop owners are going to make more money.The second advantage is that the owner of the hotel will hire more employees and there will be less unemployment than before.The third advantage is that the hotel will add to the prestige of this area. 

The disadvantages

     In addition to this, there are three disadvantages,too.The first disadvantage is that more people will be in cars, which will cause more air pollution in the area. The second disadvantage is that the traffic will be heavier and there will be a problem with parking spaces.The third and final disadvantage is the increased noise from the hotel's bars.People won't sleep or work quietly.

Recommendations and suggestions

     I strongly disagree with this idea.The hotel must not be built.It is like someone asks you for your life or money. Many people would choose the money, but they are wrong.We must not harm the environment because it might harm us afterwards.

War Horse

In this book,the War Horse, I read two amazing scenes about the friendship between people and animals.The horse has been trapped in the no-man's land,which is the space between two armies.Two people ,one from each army ,go near the horse in order to take care of it.

These two soldiers give the best example of peace in the world by talking together in a friendly way.They throw a coin and say "Heads or tails?".The British soldier wins and takes the horse and the German soldier tells him to take care of this beautiful ,but almost dead ,horse.

 

After that ,the horse is cleaned up and looks so incredible. Then, something very unexpected happens.The man who was cleaning the horse up understood that this horse was his lost horse and they had been together since they were both babies.

 

This man told himself that if he had been more careful with it ,he wouldn't have lost it. Now,he, finally finds it in a rare and strange way and he will never lose it again.These were the best scenes while reading of this book.

My favourite movie

My favourite movie is Despicable Me 2.

It is a funny story with the famous and the unique minions and their boss Gru.They are in a difficult mission. What do you think, will they be the winners or not? Watch the film and tell us what your opinion is!

 

Amazon Rally: a story we read

Brian and David are motorcycle racers and they love motorcycle races!They have been to many Eyropean towns for them.They are from Enfield,a small town in England.

Brian and David go to Brazil for the Amazon rally.It is a rally in the Amazon jungle.The race starts and the two friends haven't got easy enemies, but they aren't a problem.

The rain is a bigger problem than the Italians,Brazilians ant the other players.On the third day, Indians catch the two friends because they think Brian and David are miners and miners kill the Indians.Sometimes Indians are friendly,but sometimes they are angry too.

Hotel Transylvania

   If you could visit Hotel Transylvania, would you keep he secrets of the monsters living here? Why or why not?

I won't tell the other people secrets of the monsters, because the monsters will be disappointed and I don't want to be a person who cannot be trusted. If I visited the monsters' hotel, I would be reliable.

In other words, I wouldn't reveal the monsters' secrets to anyone. The monsters will be able to trust me. If I tell the secrets, other people would be angry, worried and scared and maybe they would kill the monsters.

Hotel Transylvania

      Question 1: Would you keep the secret of the monsters that live are living in the monster castle?

     If I lived on there and I was a monster, I wouldn't tell it to anyone of the humans because in the castle there lives the Dracula's daughter lives and her mother had died from the human's fire.Now,...if I was a human, (comma) I would tell the secrets only to my best friends ,so I know and I trust them that they won't tell it to anyone!

     Question 2: How is the difference shown in the film and what is so unexpected about it?

     The difference is that there are monsters which are afraid of people and not people afraid of monsters.That's the reason that the monsters' behaviour isn't logical according to people's thoughts.The unexpected thing about that gets into the film is love at first sight, ZING, between Jonathan ,a human, and Mavis , Dracula's daughter.

The description of another friend

     This time I'm going to tell you about another good friend,George. George doesn't have a brother of a sister ,just like me.The reason I met George is that we went to the same kindergarten when we were only 3 years old.

      George is very very thin and if I'm not mistaken his eyes are black and his hair is dark brown.

      He's a very clever and mature child for his age.He's got a very good sense of humour ,too.He's always kind and really polite to the other children's parents.

      Last year, something terrible, but funny happened at my guitar lesson with George.We played the song well and people applauded. But unfortunately, we accidentally dropped  our book stand down and everyone laughed! I'm never going to forget that.

The description of a friend

I've got a lot of friends ,but today I'm gonna tell you about one of them, Lefteris.Lefteris is one of my best friends and I have known him for almost seven years.The reason I met Lefteris was his twin brother Manolis.I had met Manolis in my uncle's marriage when I first saw Lefteris

Well ,Lefteris isn't very tall, but he's taller than me.He 's almost 1.60m. tall!! If I am not mistaken, his hair is black and his eyes are brown to black.

 

He's very mature for his age, but he's really funny, too.He's always kind and gentle to other people's parents and when someone needs help he's helpful ,too.

 

Last year ,Lefteris, Manolis, Chris,who is another friend and me had arranged to come to my house after the Halloween school party to play all day.We played lots of different types of games;sports ,computer games and table games. Then, at night their parents came to take them and I told them 'Catch you later!'. This beautiful day is one of the reasons why I love my good friend Lefteris so much!

Aliens ate my homework

Today, as I was walking home from school, a spaceship landed in front of me! An alien with eyes like a cat and long spidery legs came out. "I am hungry he said" he said. "I have come to your planet in search of books to eat ". "Books aren't food" I said. "That's the craziest thing I have ever heard," said the alien." I love a good book! Right now I am craving a big fat math book."

He started to walk towards me , he took my bag and he ate my homework. Then I ran to my house. I told my mum about it and she advised me to do another project, but at the same time the alien came to our house and he ate my mum's work project. After that, my mum became very angry and she broke a pan on his head. Finally, he fell down and we chilled out.

From now on, the alien won't eat our homework again.

A crazy class

Today, all the pictures we drew in art class came to life.I drew an airplane and it started flying around the room.Then I drew a giant ox and it started messing up everything.Manolis thought that we could send the ox to another classroom, so he opened the door and the ox went out to the other art class."Our class has kicked the ox out of our room", said Manolis."Who agrees with me?" "We all agree!!"we shouted.

After that ,we started cleaning up the mess and drawing new beautiful pictures, without knowing that unexpected adventure was waiting for us.Someone drew a scary and spooky ghost and brought it to life!This ghost wanted to put down our teacher ,in public, so it drew a mirror that had the same opinions with it.

We wanted to stick up for our teacher and we threw water to the ghost and killed it.Then we made a spell that said"the painting can't exist if the creator doesn't exist ".It finally worked and we drew happily ever after!!All's well that ends well!

  I would like to ask you if you could help me with my problems. Could you please send me a new game with three different CDs that are working properly or could I have a refund? I am going to send you my receipt with this letter.

Α STORY

It was a stormy night in London with lots of thunders. Little Jack was sitting near the fireplace with his grandpa, watching the storm outside the window. Then grandpa remembered a story that happened a long-long time ago, when he was a young man.

Then he said to Jack:"Jack,boy, I want to tell you a story that happened a long time ago". "What's this story about?" Jack asked. "It's about me, my crew, my ship and an unexpected adventure" grandpa replied. "Were you a captain on a ship?" Jack asked. "Yes, I was. It was a really big ship, named"Saint James". It carried a special cargo, too" grandpa said. "What was it?" the little boy asked. "Gold" the old man answered. "So  what happened next?" Jack was curious to know about the rest of the story. "OK, everything started a cold  November morning. We were ready to leave Liverpool harbour. The cargo was on board. We wanted to transfer the gold to China. So, we left and our journey began. 

The weather was calm, during the most of our journey. At the 40th night exactly in the middle of our journey a storm full of thunders began. One of the thunders hit the antenna and all the electronic systems failed. The sonar stopped, too. We didn't know if we were going to hit on a reef. Unfortunately, we hit on it and our ship sank with the gold in it. I survived, but I was in the middle if the ocean , hanging on a piece of wood, alone. When I woke up the next day, I realised that I was on a strange land. I was hungry so I explored the island and I ate some fruits. I needed to build a shelter, too. I cut some branches and I made the roof out of banana tree leaves. I was thirsty so I climbed on the top of the highest mountain of the island to find the water source. I found enough water and I watched the view. 

Suddenly, I saw two trees in a strange cross shape in the heart of the island. I climbed down the whole mountain and I reached that spot. I started digging and I found treasure. I was rich, but helpless. That night I dived in the ocean to find food. A shark attacked me, but I hit him at the nose. I ate well and I slept well, too. During the night I heard the noise of a boat. Luckily, they saw me and I returned home". 

"Wow! Fantastic story" Jack said. "But there's something more" grandpa said. "What?" Jack asked. " These are the coordinates if the spot that the ship is sunk. I want you to find the gold when you grow up. Are you ready for an adventure?" grandpa asked. " YES, CAPTAIN!" said Jack.

Me:A friend must always be honest and mature ,so he doesn't do silly things and he tells the truth.He must also be a polite person towards his parents.Finally, he has to be reliable for things that you don't want the other people to learn about them.I think these are the important things that a friends should do for a friendship. Today is the EUROPEAN DAY OF LANGUAGES. It is very important because we cannot communicate without language. It is related to our culture. The video impressed  me because this woman can speak 25 different languages.

Jack and the beanstalk

                 Once upon a time ,far away over the mountains there was a poor woman that lived with her young son Jack.They lived in an old house next to a farm which had only one cow and one bull.The family was so poor that one day Jack's mum told him to take the cow and exchange it for gold in the market.

                 Unfortunately, no one wanted the cow,so he started going to his house.But a man on his way took the cow for three magic beans!Jack ran to his house and showed them to his mum, but she threw the beans out of the window!The next morning there was a huge bean outside Jack's window and he climbed on it.A beautiful princess gave him a chicken that laid golden eggs.He showed this to his mum and everyone was happy in the end!!!

My summer

     I'm writing this composition to tell you about how I spent my summer this year.The schools closed and I was really happy ,but I  was sad ,too,because I wouldn't see my friends for all summer.
 
      At the end of June I went  to my village called Chromonastiri.It is at the north side of Rethymno.There our house has a huge yard with a basket and I play basketball  with my friends.

     We play football ,we ride our bikes and we go swimming together.We also play hide -and-seek in the afternoon.I played these games for two months ,but I didn't get bored ,because I played them with my friends.

    Then as the summer was ending I came here in Heraklion to get prepared for the new school year!!

Once upon a time there was a man called Winston Smith that lived in a society in which the government controlled every second of the day. They also controlled the mind with the thought police.There was the "king" of the government.This "king" was Big Brother.He controlledthe whole government with soldiers, thoughtcrimers and facecrimers (criminals?)

In every house there were two big posters.One poster wrote BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING YOU and his eyes looked into yours and the other poster wrote"FREEDOM IS SLAVERY
WAR IS PEACE
IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH"

Winston worked in the Ministry of Truth.One day a big noise from the telescreen called all the workers in the center hall.Emmanuel Goldstein's face filled the telescreen.Behind his face there were a thousand soldiers marching.A girl got up and threw a Dictionary on the telescreen shouting"Pig,pig".She was a dangerous girl especially with men.

One day Winston called one friend ,O'brien, to discuss with him.O'brien told him about facecrimers.Then after the conversation he started getting back home. On the way he met a girl who was hurt and lay on the floor and he helped her get up.He took her home to look after her.But the thought police caught them and wanted not to punish them but to help them.After that they saw they were well and they set them free.Winston went to a café and saw Big Brother on the telescreen.Then he started crying.He finally loved Big Brother.

Charles Dickens

As we all know Charles Dickens was one of the world's best and most famous writers.His novels have ''travelled'' around the world.In this composition that I'm going to write I'll tell you about two famous characters from Dickens' books.
The first famous character is Ebenezer Scrooge.Scrooge is an unkind and mean man.He doesn't give a lot of money to poor people and he doesn't care about that his clerk's son who is really ill in order to give some more money to the poor family.But ... one night Jacob Marley's ghost visits him and tells him that 3 more ghosts will visit him tonight.
Another famous character is Abel Magwitch.He's a bad criminal that escapes from his prison and he's free again.He meets a boy and he tells him to find food and if the boy doesn't come back ,he will kill him.But the boy comes back and the criminal becomes a grateful man.
Dickens was a good writer, but he died on 9th June 1870.

Amazon Rally

   'Look Brian', says David 'These are our motorcycles'.David and Brian are motorcycle racers and they are at the Heathrow airport in London.They usually race in European countries, but this time they are going to race in Brazil across the Amazon Jungle.
   Brian reads a newspaper. 'There is a problem in Amazon.The Indians are very angry because miners take their homes.But David doesn't listen and says, 'The race is going to be good'. 'Yes, difficult, too', answers Brian.
    Two days later the racers are in Brazil.The race starts and the day is really hot.The first two days in the race are OK, but then the road is bad. However, our racers are first.Suddenly, they are lost in the jungle and Indians catch them.They ask them if they are miners ,but they explain that they are racers and they call the police to catch the miners.Finally, the police catches the miners and everybody is happy again.

       The School for the Higher Studies in Happiness was about five kilometres  outside Eden City's World.Every day ,a bus took the students from the center of the city to school.On the way the students sang songs that  they learned at school.
 
     I'm Happy ,I'm Happy ,Everyday in every way ,I'm Happy!!!!
   

       Student BZXY741 sat behind the driver.He was singing louder than the other students.He sang well and he always loved to sing everyday in every way.

     Happy is good, sad is bad ,I'm HAPPY.

  
   He was the best student of the year and every teacher and every student in the school loved him.He was the winner for the Best Smile.But... the girl next to him didn't sing as loud as the other students.He turned to her and she smiled at him, but he didn't know that this smile could change his life...

Mysteries with James Bond

The new computer game is at the shops and its name is:"Mysteries with James Bond".The game has got great graphics.The people in the game seem like real!!

The new computer game is based on the film "Skyfall" with James Bond.I like the scene in the game that you have to catch the murderer in Sangai.All the scenes in the game are exciting ,but if they asked me which scene you want to play in the game, I would prefer the scene that I told you. I think that Sharkface Productions will love my game.

Hi Lee, 

Thank you for the e-mail. I'm afraid I can't come to China and celebrate Chinese New Year with you. It's too far for me and I've got school these days, I am not on holidays. 

My favorite Greek celebration is Easter. I like it because it's in spring and the nature is blooming. During the Holy Week we make preparations for the Holy Saturday and the resurrection. On Holy Thursday we paint our eggs red and go to the church. On Good Friday we follow 'epitafios' which is the symbolic grave of Christ. On Holy Saturday we go to the church late at night. At the midnight the priest says " Christos anesti" which means Christ truthfully rose from grave. Then we return home and eat a traditional soup made of liver.

Would you like to come and celebrate Easter with me? I look forward to your answer.

NICK:My favourite toys are the NERF guns.They throw fake bullets to kill the enemy.I always play NERF with my friends.NERF guns are amazing!

007 and the mystery criminal

Two months ago James Bond was in Istanbul following an unknown criminal on a moving train. The criminal shot him, but he hit him in the shoulder. The train was on a bridge and the two men were fighting angrily. Another agent of MI6 was watching them nervously. The leader of MI6 ,her nickname was"Mum", gave an order to the agent to shoot. The agent didn't want to shoot, because he could hit Bond. Finally, he shot and he hit 007. Bond fell off the bridge quickly in the water, but he wasn't badly injured. He was still alive.

Everybody thought that he was dead, but they were wrong. When 007 returned home and took out the bullet from his shoulder, he found out that this bullet was unique. So, he had to find who the criminal was. He searched for information on the Internet. He found out his name, he saw how he looked like and he found that he was at  Sangai. 

He went there and found the criminal at a high building. The criminal had just killed a very important person. They fought hard and James Bond pushed him backwards. The criminal almost fell off the building, but Bond caught him.It was early in the morning. The criminal let Bond's hand and fell.

    007 and 006 had to blow up an alien spaceship.They took lots of war and spy equipment with them because they didn't know the aliens' skills.
    They went near the spaceship quietly.They took some photos of the spaceship, with infrared cameras, so the aliens in the spaceship couldn't find them easily.Suddenly, they heard an alien
out of the spaceship .
    They hid behind a tree quickly and put a bomb under the spaceship which would explode in 5 minutes.After five minutes ,a loud BOOM was heard. They killed 1000 alien soldiers and they took a gold medal for their bravery.

My last birthday

Last year, I celebrated my birthday at LIDO SOCCER.I invited 9 friends ,so I could talk to everyone.We played football and basketball all day till we were tired of playing.After the game, my huge birthday cake arrived.I don't like eating birthday cakes ,so I couldn't say that the cake was delicious!

My friends chose amazing presents for me and wrapped them up in beautiful colours.In lots of countries in the world they do lots of things to have luck, but here in Greece we don't do anything to have luck.We just know that we're lucky.

Competition entry about saving energy at home

I do lots of things to save energy at home. I save water. I use a little water to clean my teeth and wash my hands. When I was younger, I didn't use to save water. I used to recycle paper, plastic, glass and aluminium before the recycling factory closed. We still have two different bins, one for the food and one for the things than can be recycled.Also, I try to reuse things, like plastic bottles. I use them to plant plants. I usually switch off the lights when I get out of the room, but sometimes I forget about it. I never leave my computer on when I'm not using it. I think that the problem is the over-consumption. We must consume less and save energy at home. If we do that, the world will be a better place!

WHAT WILL MY FRIEND AND I DO/First Conditional

If it's sunny at the weekend my friend and I,will go to Lido soccer to play football, but if it's cloudy or it's raining, I will invite him to my house to play. I will play basketball on Tuesday, if the weather is good. I think it'll be good. It's spring after all! If the weather is bad, I will do my homework and read science books.

   Our story starts ,in summer 1860, in the city of Baltimore.At that time the babies were usually born at homes.But Mr. and Mrs. Roger Button had different ideas.They wanted their first baby to arrive in a hospital.The Buttons were important in Baltimore society.They knew every good family in the town ,but everyone knew them ,too.
   This was their first baby, so naturally Mr. Button was nervous.He was hoping it would a boy so that he could send him to Yale College ,because he wanted to follow his track.This great day arrived. Mr. button hurried to the hospital.When he was close to the hospital, he saw the family doctor on the front steps.There was a serious look on the doctor's face and this made Mr. Button worried.
     He ran toward the doctor.
 "Doctor Keene" he shouted.
 The doctor turned and saw him."What happened?"Mr.Button asked."Is the child born?A boy or a girl?What...?"
"Talk sense!", the doctor said.
 "O.K.Is the child born?", he asked.
 "Yes",  he answered."A strange birth".
"Is it a boy or a girl?"
"Go and see"the doctor answered....

   Today we went mountain biking somewhere in Psiloritis.It was beautiful there.The water was clean and we could drink from the spring.First ,we relaxed for one hour.Then, we played some games in the forest over there. I loved mountain biking and the games which we played, but my clothes were very dirty after all these activities.
       
    Tomorrow we're going to go canoeing.I'm excited, happy and afraid, all at the same time!I may go to a bad team and the canoe might sink!I really want to be at the same group with George, Manolis and Lefteris.Perhaps my prediction will come true and I'll be very happy!!!!

Diary entry

Monday June 1st

Dear diary,

Today we went to a beach near the palace of Malia. It was sunny with no wind and hot as all the other days during the Cretan summer.The sea was peaceful with no waves at all. We swam for two hours and then we played water polo. After that, we played rackets on the sand, beach volleyball and finally we left. After we swam, we visited the palace. It was just amazing.We went back to the camp and took a shower. Then we played football and basketball and now it's time to go to bed. It was a great day.

Tomorrow we are going to climb up the mountain nearby to put our flag on the top of it. Then we're going to go mountain biking and send messages in Morse Code. Also we are going to go snorkelling to look for fish and try to catch them. I may catch nothing. After that, we are going to go back to and take a shower. Also we're going to compete in a basketball competition which I've entered. I'm a little nervous, but I hope to win.

 My best friend is Lefteris.He's tall and he wears glasses.

CHAPTER 1 The wolf-pack hunts

The land was covered with snow and it was silent.Into the still lifeless landscape broke the sounds and movements of life -of dogs breathing and calling other dogs.Lots of dogs were pulling the long sled.

When the far-north of Canada freezes, it controls everything that lives and grows there.The strong and the clever ones live ,while the weak die.

Suddenly, a cry cut through the frozen silence. The two men looked at each other, but they said nothing.Then a second and a third cry, came from all around.

" They're after us ,Bill" said Henry who was in front of the sled.But the wolves came closer at night.

"How many dogs do we have?"

"You know we've got six ,but why are you asking?" Henry said.

" I'm sure that I saw seven pairs of eyes when I threw them meat"...

HARE WANTS ANOTHER RACE 2

     Once upon a time, there was a hare which had lost in a race with a Tortoise. Because he was cross, he asked Tortoise for  another race."Three, two,one, GO!!".Hare started very fast.He ran down the hill and ran very fast , in the town.

     

      But in a few minutes he saw a river. He thought,"I'll jump".He jumped and fell into the water.He shouted for help and Tortoise saved him.The the race started again.

       

      Hare had almost finished, but the journalists stopped him at the finishing line to take photos of him.While he was taking photos, Tortoise passed the finishing line and she was the winner.

Coming to your neighborhood soon!

The new science museum in our neighborhood is opening on Saturday 16th February. Famous scientists from all over the world are coming to the opening party. The name of the museum is "Heraklion science museum".

It's in Mastabas ,near the supermarket. It will be big, brown and black. It will have a lot of interesting things to do. There will be a map with all the volcanos of the world and an article about the volcanic activity in Greece. Also there will be educational programs for kids and for older ones. There will be explanations for physics and astronomical terms, too. The people will feel excited and they'll want to come back again and again.

The call of the wild / Chapter 1: To the north

Buck was a big and strong dog which lived in Santa Clara valley in California. He lived with Mrs Miler and some other dogs in a very big place with lots of fruit trees, large gardens and a river nearby. Men found gold in the Yukon, so they wanted big and strong dogs to work in the cold and snow of the north.

Manuel, a gardener, took Buck when Mrs Miller wasn't in the house. Buck thought that it was an afternoon walk. Manuel took him to two strange men. They put a rope around Buck's neck. The gardener paid them. The dog jumped on them, but they pulled hard the rope around Buck's neck and they put him in a train. Then, they took him to an old man. That man held a club and an axe. Buck jumped at him ten times, but the man hit him with the block ten times. The last time Buck fell again on the ground and he didn't move.

After some days a man took Buck and put him in a boat with other dogs to the north.When they arrived something soft and cold was under Buck's feet. He didn't know what it was and he started biting it. It was the first time he saw snow!

Felix and the fairy

  Felix and  his friends ,Jack and Mary, are at
the amusement park.They are having fun!There's so
much to see and do!They are really excited:''Look
at the strong man!Look at the juggler!Look at the
strong man!''.

is the winner!The three children saw a magician and
they went next to him.The magician moved his wand
and said : "Abracadabra, look at the rabbit in the
hat"!A cute rabbit appeared and everybody said Wow!

Living in the air

  I think that, in the future, architects will design a machine which helps us beat gravity. This is why people will live in the air.The air won't be polluted because people will  travel with flying planes.

  It'll be amazing because people will fly, in the air. Everything will be in the air: restaurants, cafés, police stations, libraries, houses, ice rinks and even super skyscrapers! I think that, with amazing machines, our life will never be the same.

FUTURE CITIES

I think future cities will be very different. Skyscrapers and buildings will be taller and very modern. Motorways will be above us and there will be air bridges, too. Cars will be as fast as a supersonic aircraft. People will work in special buildings with offices, basketball and football courts. There will also be a hospital and a theatre. Around the cities there will be lots of plants and a small river with water to drink. The temperature will be higher and the sun will be hotter, so people will always wear sunglasses, sun cream and a hat. Future cites won’t be so crowded and noisy as today.
