Dictation: Plastic hat which can read brainwaves

   Imagine you have a computer with no mouse, no keyboard and no joystick. And you can't move your hands either. How can you search the Internet, create a file or upload your photos? Some computer companies have recently invented a plastic hat which can read signals from your brain. Although this seems impossible, objects on the screen are controlled using just your brainwaves! A lot more research will be done before it appears in the shops, but the technology already exists.

Nowadays, a lot of children are hooked on playing computer games or video games. I believe  there are some advantages and some disadvantages connected to this.

Children are better at school because they know how to think quickly and solve problems. Moreover, they can research the web about school projects. They can learn more information and enrich their knowledge, too. Furthermore, games are very fun, entertaining and relaxing.

However, there are some disadvantages to playing video games. First of all, children may forget important things they have to do in their social life, like schoolwork. Their grades will be worse and they will experience gaps of knowledge at school. However, if they play to much they will not be able to focus on anything else. In addition to this they may not be fit or good at sports and they end up being couch potatoes. They will sleep less and this may affect their growth. Additionally, some games teach violence to  children and this is not good because this teaches children how to hurt bad to other children.

In conclusion, there are both positive and negatives aspects concerning the use of computers by children .In my opinion ,computers are good for children because they can teach them a lot of interesting things .Computers  are a very useful technology machine. However, I think that computers have  a negative  aspect , that's why parents should control the time children spent in front of the screen.
