Stories of Courage

          This is Mathew's true story of courage that I call "River to Freedom".One day Mathew was walking by a river in Egypt.That river was the famous Nile. Suddenly, he stumbled on and fell in the cruel river. He tried to swim to save his life but it was impossible.Then, he saw the two ,dark and yellow eyes of a crocodile.The crocodile was running incredibly fast towards him,but when it was about a step away from him it turned and walked away.

      

          That wasn't Mathew's first lucky escape.Some years ago,in the World War 1,he was into prison because of the German domination.Every day German soldiers hit Egyptians.One day they took them out of prison next to a river.His hope for freedom was getting bigger,so he asked a soldier about the river.The German soldier answered him that the river had electricity lines in it.His hope had been broken.To the Egyptians' luck,the bell rang for lunch ,so they made a line and started walking to take their tasteless food? When the most people had gone he ran towards the river and  jumped.He luckily swam under the electricity lines till he reached the other side of the river.

         Finally,his body was saved but weak.He remembered that he had some friends at the Port. He walked 30 kilometers in a day and fortunately arrived at the Port alive.His friends gave him a fast boat and he went to his dad's home,so the old father was there waiting for him.If we have difficult times in our lives, we should remember Mathew's courage and bravely fight against them.

      Most people think that supernatural powers only exist in comics...They've never seen real superpowers .Now, they will!....

Your children can go surfing, sky diving and have fun at beach parties every night. Then, the cost includes all meals, the accommodation and one excursion to the countryside, so you do not have to pay extra money in this holiday. Finally, we can make all arrangements for hotel and the flights, so the flight will be very cheap for you and your family.

A FORMAL EMAIL LETTER GIVING INFORMATION

Dear Mr Jones,

I am writing this email to you to tell you that we have found a place for you and your family with all the features you wanted. Let me tell you about Colorful Sunrise Beach Resort.

 First of all, you wanted to know where the resort is. You wanted it to be at a quiet place. Colorful Sunrise Beach Resort is in a beautiful valley next to the coast with no traffic at all. The only sound that you hear is the sound of the waves crashing on the  beach, the sound of the kids playing and the birds singing. In addition to that ,you and your family can do many activities. You can do all water sports and there are beach parties every night, especially for teenagers. The resort also has tennis and basketball courts which are open to everybody from 8.00 o'clock in the morning to 8.00 o'clock in the evening. Furthermore, we are able to make all arrangements for hotel and flights. The cost includes all meals,accommodation and a one-day excursion to ancient ruins.

An entry for the disguise competition

    Hi, "Fun TV".My name is Nick and I'm sending this entry to your competition "In disguise for a Day".I would like to seem like Jim Carrey in "The Mask", because he did amazing and exciting things like revealing fridges, hammers ,watches that talk and all these from his pocket.
   
    First of all,I would like the make-up artists to put the  mask on my head so I'm  just like him.I would wear glasses for the different disguises that the mask man has during the movie . For example, I'd like to look like a salesperson, a teacher or even a scientist.I want to wear new shoes because I want to invent a new walk. I also want to wear small cushions in order to appear bigger.
   
   While I'm in disguise, I would like to fool my dad, my mum,my granny ,my cousins and friends ,too. I like fooling people, especially on Halloween. I hope you 'll make me like the mask.I look forward to your reply.
