A theft

     As I was walking through the town centre one day, I heard a loud crush! I looked behind me and I saw two masked men smash an expensive car and steal valuable things from the inside. One of the two thieves was waiting on their motorbike which was the way they would go away after the theft. I got the number of their motorbike and I called the police.

      The same night, while I was watching TV, "breaking news " appeared on my television. I saw that the car which had been broken, belonged to a famous singer and he had his expensive and important things into the car ( phone,pocket,identity...) . The things had been stolen and the police was asking for witnesses! 

       The next morning after I called the police, I saw that the police caught the thieves and the items which had been stolen were found and they were returned to the famous singer. The thieves were sent to prison and I felt quite pleased and happy about all of this

I didn't find my cache easily. It was in a very famous place in Heraklion.The place it was hidden had many children and many people.I looked for the cache inside cafes and reastaurants.I tried hard but i found it.

It was difficult to find the hiding place. However, i will make browsing easy for you. This is a temple and the name of the intended is like the name of a road. In that place has a lot of people every day in order to see the temple. It is between two stones. I believe that you will find it.

It was very difficult to find my cache.The  place where it was hidden, had lots of people.It was very loud ,but I tried to solve my mission. The place has got a fountain and you can hear the water. I was looked everywhere for the cache in the cafés, at the restaurants . Finally, I found the cache inside the fountain. It was very difficult to find it ,but I tried a lot and I made it. I had a lot of fun anyways.

 I have recently seen a great movie. Jason Statham had the main role! He was father of a gilr whose name was Madi and she was 10 years old. His wife was dead and he went to live at a place where his wife borned and growed up. His daughter wanted to go ther beacuse she wanted to discover her mother's old house. 

  The story begins with his daughter's fight against a boy! Then the parents of the boy were addicted to drugs and they were a little bit crazy! They told to gang members to kill Jason Statham but they couldn't. In the end everything went well and they lived without some troubles in their mind!  

IF SOMEONE WANTS TO SEE THE MOVIE,BELIEVE ME IT HAS A LOT OF SUSPENCE AND YOU WILL ENJOY THAT GREAT MOVIE!!!!

My favourite film

I have recently seen a detective film.The name of the film was "The Prisoners".Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal had the main roles.Hugh Jackman (Keller was his name in the movie) was the dad of one of the two girls who were kidnapped!Jake Gyllenhaal was the detective who was trying to find the two kidnapped girls! It's a nice movie with a lot of suspense. You will understand that every moment matters in the film. It has many twists and in the end you learn who kidnapped the young girls and you finally solve the mystery!

ARE COMPUTERS GOOD FOR CHILDREN?

   Nowadays,a lot of children are addicted to playing computer games or video games.I believe there are some advantages and some disadvantages connected to this.

   There are a lot of advantages.First of all,children do better at school,because they know how to think quickly and solve problems.Secondly,hey can do research on the web about school projects,for example,they visit Wikipedia and search about the history of their country.Thirdly, they can learn more information and enrich their knowledge,for example,writing on a blog is a very fun way for children to learn a foreign language.Finally,games are very fun entertaining and relaxing.

   However, there are some disadvantages,too. Firstly,children may forget important things,which they have to do in their daily or social life.For example,they may forget about their schoolwork,housework and celebrations.Moreover,their grades may be worse and they will experience gaps of knowledge at school and they won't be able to keep up with their classmates.Furthermore,if they play too much,they won't be able to focus and concetrante on anything else.so they are lazy.In addition,they may not be fit or good at sports.They end up being couch potatoes.Additionally,they sleep less,playing computer or video games.Ths may affect their growth.Last bit not least,some games teach violence to children,so these children may be violent in their everyday life.

   In conclusion,there both positive and negative aspects concerning the use of computers by children.In my opinion,parents should control the time children spend in front of the screen.

My Easter

This Easter was the best Easter ever.This Easter I had a great time. At Easter I always go to my grandparents' house.I went to the church with my family on Holy Wednesday,Thursday ,Friday and Saturday.After the church on Holy Saturday I went to my uncle Kostas and I ate lamb,potatoes and green and traditional salad. On Easter Sunday I went with my family to my uncle Dimitris and we ate lamb and salad. Anyway, this Easter was fantastic.

Our city wants to build a hotel. There are some advantages and disadvantages about it.

Two reasons not to build a hotel OR: The disadvantages of a new hotel

There are two main reasons why a hotel is not useful. First of all, the air pollution will be more, because more cars will be there. The second problem is that the traffic and all the cars will make very big noise and the neighboorhood's life will change and that change will not be very good.

The advantages of a new hotel in the city

There are many advantages of building a new hotel. Firstly, we have a beautiful city, so with a new hotel more tourists will come. This means more money. Secondly, the owner wil hire a lot of employees, so we will have less unemployement. Also, our city has many pieces of land, which are not used. Therefore, the hotel is going to be built on this land.

Recommendations and suggestions

As a student, I strongly support that our city needs a hotel. All the hotels, in our beautiful city are not good, so a nice one will be able to make tourists come to the hotel. But this is my personal opinion. I think we must start a petition to let the local residents express their opinion and solve the problem.

My best friend

  My best friend is George. I have known George since the first day of junior high school. I have known him for five months.

  George is a good-looking,short and fit child.He wears modern clothes.His clothes are very fashionable.His face is pretty too.His eyes are big,round and brown .He has got a big mouth and when he laughs we see his teeth which are very clean His hair is short,straight and it is brown.

  My friend is very tolerant because he never has a problem with people of different nationalities or religions.Also,he is very polite too,because he never says bad words to anyone.He is cheerful and every day we play basketball together.

  Two weeks ago I was with George on the beach.We were swimming when George saw many jellyfish in the sea.We were very scared.We called the other people who were there.They were scared,too! Finally a lifeguard came there and he killed the jellyfish.It was a tragic moment! After this moment,I think I laugh a lot with George and he's always going to be my best friend. 

Description of a friend

I have a friend who is very important to me. His name is Panagiotis. I met him a few years ago. Six years ago I met him for the first time at school, but we have been friends since the third class.

His style is unique for sure! He wears always comfortable clothes (never jeans), but generally he wears modern clothes. He is not old-fashioned or colourful. He is a good-looking boy (he has a girlfriend, too) and he is tall. He is fit. He is slim but his mum wants him to eat more than he eats. His eyes are normal and round. They are green, too. I think that his eyes are the best thing about him. His hair is short and straight. His hair is blond. He wears glasses, but he has not got freckles, moles or anything else.

His character is amazing but sometimes he can be very bad to people, but this happens very rarely. He has good and bad personality characteristics. He is very, very, very patient. He can wait for you, if you are late for hours and he can listen carefully about your problems. He is always cheerful, every day. He is reliable, you can tell him everything you want. He is mature, but sometimes he is immature, I do not know how. He is polite with the other people and finally, he is tolerant with the other nationalities and with people.

There is something that I will remember for ever! I remember we were at the supermarket to buy chewing-gums. There was a sign which said with capital letters "DO NOT TOUCH THESE GUMS". We looked at each other and suddenly we heard a noise, like a sirene. We started running. We went out of the supermarket, but we saw an ambulance with a sirene. We started laughing! This is why that Panagiotis is one of my best friends.

A fantastic book

Hello readers! I wish you all the best for this new year and enjoy the new year! In the holidays, Mrs Markaki gave me a very good book. I read it and that's why I am writing this text for the blog!

The title of the book was "Amazon Rally". It was written by Eduardo Amos and Elisabeth Prescer. In this story two friends from England, go to Brazil for a motorcycle race. Their names are Brian and David. The race starts well but when they get into the woods of the Amazon, Indians stop them! Indians think they are miners and they want to kill them. But the two drivers explain who they really are. Indians understand and they let them free. They explain their problem with the miners. Then Brian runs to the police station to inform the policemen about the miners who want to kill the Indians. The police come to the village and stop the miners. Then the two drivers continue their race and finish. But not first or second, last of all. But with the notice to the police, they saved the Indians' village.
