The proposals

The local council is planning to develop a piece of land in our neighbourhoud .The first proposal is to build a new supermerket and the second proposal is to build a  hotel for tenagers.

Tow reasons to not to build the supermarket

There are tow main reasons to not build the supermarket.First of all we don't need a supermarket because there are already tree supermarket in our neighbourhoud  and the second problem is the traffic.the traffic will be heavier,the streets will be more dangerous  to croos and the fumes will create more pollution.

The advandages of a center for teenagers.

The only sports centre that excist in this area  is very small,and the equipment is quite old.The proposal is to  build a sports centre that includes a cafe is an excellent idea.Not all teenagers are into sports,but if ther is a cafe the everybody inthis age group can meet in appropriate environment

Reccommentation and Suggestions

I strongly support having a safe place to go where I can relax with my friends.I reccomend that the local residents should start a petiton, which anybody over twelve years old can sign.The council should also have meetings where everybody in the area can express their opinion,so they can make the best decision.

In disguise for a day

Dear Fun TV,

I am writing to you because I want to spend a day in disguise in your TV show. I would like to look like Paul George, because he is my favourite basketball player and he comes from Greece.

In my opinion, to look like Paul George I must wear a basketball uniform with his name. I will have a moustashe and the number twenty- four on my uniform. Moreover, I must wear basketball sneakers. Then, I have to change my voice and make it deeper and I have to walk quickly. Also, I must put make up on to be black, because he is from the USA.

When I wear the disguise, I would like to fool my family and my friends. Furthermore, I will go to school with my uniform and if we have one, I will go to a fancy dress party to dance.

Council proposal

The proposals

The local council is planning to develop a piece of land in our neighbourhood. There is one way they might develop the land. The proposal is is to build a hotel. There are advantages and disadvantages.

The advantages of a new hotel

More tourists will be in our area and that means that  the local shop owners will have more money. Secondly, a new hotel is important to the area and it will add beauty and fame to the neighbourhood. Finally, there will be less unemployment, because the owner is going to hire a lot of employees.

The disadvantages of a new hotel

First of all, there will be more cars, so there will be more air pollution and traffic fumes. Furthermore, the traffic is another problem, because there will not be any parking spaces. Moreover, the increased noise will annoy the local residents, who may not be able to sleep comfortably or work quietly. Therefore, life in the neighbourhood will change.

Recommendations and suggestions

In my opinion, I would like a new hotel to be built,  because this place will improve very much. As for the increased noise, the residents will get used to it in the future. If I were in the their position, I would write a a report to the mayor and tell him their suggestions. Another solution is the residents to sign a petition and send the results to the council. Last but not least, they can have a meeting and make a decision.
