My opinion about a film

Last Wednesday I and my classmates saw an exciting film which was called "NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS".The film is very good,but the thing that impressed me is the way that the director made this film.This way called"STOP MOTION".First of all the director made muppets that a man moved .Then he took 12 photos in 1 minute and after that he joined the photos together. Many people worked for 3 years to make this film!!!

My favourite celebration is Christmas because your parents give you presents and at Christmas all the people decorate their houses with a tree.The people go to the church and then they eat around a big table a big chicken with potatoes.When they eat all the dinner they tell jokes and they sing all the time.At 12:00 pm the children go to sleep and when they wake up they run under the tree to open their presents!!!

WHY WE CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS ???

Once upon a time I had a friend who was called  Kallia . Kallia didn't know why we celebrate Christmas.She asked her friends , her parents , her teacher,but she couldn't understand why we celebrate Christmas.Mary who was Kallia's best friend said that we celebrate Christmas ,because our parents give us presents.Οther people said that Christmas is their new tablet,a trip to America....
One day Kallia asked me.I opened a book and I started reading .Then I said : on 25th December Jesus Christ was born .So this the reason that we celebrate Christmas!!!!

My favourite celebration is Christmas.My family goes to the church and then we sit around a big table.My mum cooks a special dinner with all the christmas food.We eat chicken with potatoes and a carrot salad.Then my granny plays christmas songs on the piano.After that the children sit under the christmas tree and they open their presents.I love Christmas!!!

My favorite singer is Chris Brown 

Christopher Maurice "Chris" Brown (born May 5, 1989) is an American recording artist, dancer, and actor. The first chapters of 'Nightmare Before Christmas'

The story nightmare before Christmas is a great story.It talkS ABOUT a skeleton and a doctor who have an acident and now he has MADE a very strong girl.Her name is Sally and she helpS and careS FOR the doctor because he can't walk.But Sally is very borED with that and she wantS
to escape.At night she putS SOME STRANGE FLOWERS in his drink and giveS it to the doctor.Then the doctor IS asleep and Sally escapeS but he caught/ catches her.The skeleton's name is Jack and he lived in Halloween town and he travelled to Christmas town.When

he came back, HE TALKED ABOUT all the things WHICH HE HAD SEEN to the friends.

My opinion on the book

The pages of the book nightmare before christmas were good and bad.They were good because they were a good start for a story and they were bad because they were a little BIT boring but they were ok.I liked Jack and the strange voice of the doctor. Αlso his voice was a little scary.the little stupid place was where Sally put flowers in the doctor's drink then when he fell asleep Sally RAN away but then the doctor woke up and rolled with his chair and caught her.I mean it was a little stupid becauce he was in a chair and he caught her.Also I liked IT when Jack lived in Halloweentown and went to the Christmastown and then when he returned Jack told the people of Halloweentown about the Christmastown.

It was Halloween at the Halloween-Town.This night all the ghosts the witches and the monsters went out of their tomb and  they went to town because the wantED to scarE people.Jack Skellington was the most scary of all of them.With his scary songs and dances he scared the people.But Jack was bored because he did the same things all the nights of the Halloween every year.

One night he walked out of the Halloween -Town and he was walking for many hours.While he was walking he saw a beautiful town WHICH was the Christmas-Town and it was Christmas.He looked inside of a house and he saw a beautiful DECORATED tree and then he went back to the Halloween town.

When he arrived to the Halloween-Town he explained to all what he saw at the Christmas -town. While he was talking , SALLY was watching him. Sally was taking care OF an old doctor.For many years she tried to escape FROM the house,but the doctor ALWAYS CAUGHT her.

JACK ' O LANTERN

A jack-o'-lantern is a carved pumpkin, or turnip, associated chiefly with the holiday of Halloween, and was named after the phenomenon of strange light flickering over peat bogs, called will-o'-the-wisp or jack-o'-lantern. First of all, when I opened the box I saw a big scratch on the screen.Next, Icannot listen to songs, because it usually get stuck when I try to listen to songs.

Samara: My favorite horror movie

It was a scary night and I was with my friends.We went to the Video land and we rented a horror story which was called Samara.When we went to my home, we watched the movie.In the movie Samara was a child and she was lived with her mother in a village.One night her mother took her and she threw her into a big and long well.Since that day Samara was a ghost and all the nights she went out of the well.All the people of the village got scared.

Twenty years later this village was destroyed and in this point a big city was built.The place where the well of Samara was was under of a house.In the house a big family lived.Samara was angry with the family.Samara wanted to kill all the family.At first, the family got scared because  she started to turn on and off the lights. One day Samara was on the TV but the family didn't understand it.They thought it was a trailer but suddenly Samara broke the TV and she killed the father.Then she disappeared .The family was cried for days.Another day Samara appeared in front of the family and she killed one of the three children.

Finally the family got angry and they were waiting for Samara.Suddenly she appeared. The family was ready that time. Samara she went to kill the mother but the mother took quickly a knife and she threw it to Samara and she died.That's all about my favorite horror movie.

I bought the game one week ago and I'm very disappointed because the game has three problems.

First of all,my game always get stuck and I can't play it. Next,the one of two CDs can't play because it has a big scratch. Finally,when I played the CD,I saw it had 3 levels and not 4 levels,as the advertisement says.

Cool robots

Hi. I read some articles at the weekend and at the week. The best article, which I read it was <Cool Japanese robots>. I was impressed with that because the giant T-Rex because you can move it with your mobile phone and the robot which knows every sign language! Also the robot which you can play table-tennis!!
This proves Japanese have the greatest technology in the world!!!!!!!

I think, the best invention is Ritcie's Stachowski's because the underwater walkie-talkies are difficult for a kid to think of and invent. This is the most creative idea because now all the divers use them.

Council proposals

The proposals

The local council is planning to develop a piece of land in our neighbourhoud .The first proposal is to build a new supermerket and the second proposal is to build a  hotel for tenagers.

Tow reasons to not to build the supermarket

There are tow main reasons to not build the supermarket.First of all we don't need a supermarket because there are already tree supermarket in our neighbourhoud  and the second problem is the traffic.the traffic will be heavier,the streets will be more dangerous  to croos and the fumes will create more pollution.

The advandages of a center for teenagers.

The only sports centre that excist in this area  is very small,and the equipment is quite old.The proposal is to  build a sports centre that includes a cafe is an excellent idea.Not all teenagers are into sports,but if ther is a cafe the everybody inthis age group can meet in appropriate environment

Reccommentation and Suggestions

I strongly support having a safe place to go where I can relax with my friends.I reccomend that the local residents should start a petiton, which anybody over twelve years old can sign.The council should also have meetings where everybody in the area can express their opinion,so they can make the best decision.

In disguise for a day

Dear Fun TV,

I am writing to you because I want to spend a day in disguise in your TV show. I would like to look like Paul George, because he is my favourite basketball player and he comes from Greece.

In my opinion, to look like Paul George I must wear a basketball uniform with his name. I will have a moustashe and the number twenty- four on my uniform. Moreover, I must wear basketball sneakers. Then, I have to change my voice and make it deeper and I have to walk quickly. Also, I must put make up on to be black, because he is from the USA.

When I wear the disguise, I would like to fool my family and my friends. Furthermore, I will go to school with my uniform and if we have one, I will go to a fancy dress party to dance.

The proposals

The local council is planning to develop a piece of land in our neighbourhood. There is one way they might develop the land. The proposal is is to build a hotel. There are advantages and disadvantages.

The advantages of a new hotel

More tourists will be in our area and that means that  the local shop owners will have more money. Secondly, a new hotel is important to the area and it will add beauty and fame to the neighbourhood. Finally, there will be less unemployment, because the owner is going to hire a lot of employees.

The disadvantages of a new hotel

First of all, there will be more cars, so there will be more air pollution and traffic fumes. Furthermore, the traffic is another problem, because there will not be any parking spaces. Moreover, the increased noise will annoy the local residents, who may not be able to sleep comfortably or work quietly. Therefore, life in the neighbourhood will change.

Recommendations and suggestions

In my opinion, I would like a new hotel to be built,  because this place will improve very much. As for the increased noise, the residents will get used to it in the future. If I were in the their position, I would write a a report to the mayor and tell him their suggestions. Another solution is the residents to sign a petition and send the results to the council. Last but not least, they can have a meeting and make a decision.

The Description of a friend

         My best friends are two , but  today I'm going  to tell you about one of them. His name is agent 007 and I've known him for ten years ,since 2003.

       He's very good-looking ,but he's not tall.He's not fat or thin.He's slim, like me.007 is fit and well-built as all the students of the class. His clothes are casual, but fashionable.They're colourful, too. His face has two beautiful ,round and black eyes and his hair is short ,straight and black ,too. When he gets embarrassed ,he has red cheeks.
 
      My friend, 007, is very tolerant because he has never problem with people of different nationalities and he's also very polite and kind with other people because he always says "please" and " thank you".007 is very responsible with the school projects.

     Once, my dad ,Alex, 007 and I  were playing football and suddenly , the ball hit my hand forcefully and I fell down yelling in pain. 007 came to help me with everything he could and that's one of the important reasons that he's one of my best friends, because one  friend who stands by you in pressure is one hundred times more valuable than friends who stand by you in pleasure.
